I feel we all need to figure out what General Forums we need....
I think one big general will get out of hand, but we shouldn't get too specific
what I was thinking is:

some sort of a Media Section, Movies / TV / Video games in a topic, Art / books / poetry / performance art in another

General should really be about music, a random board....

and plugs....

thats really all i think you we need....
suggestions? thoughts?

i think in general discussion all things nonmusic are easily discussed. that works well on other boards. i think that too many categories can get painful. and hard to navigate! but thats just my opinion, what does everyone else think?

There were way too many categories on the other board. But a few are cool. Nwhardcore is one mammoth category for the most part and still works.

The forums we have right now are pretty good.  But maybe there should be some kind of misc forum for people who do things that are not exactly music related, like zines and stuff?

well, i went ahead and created it. if people arent happy, we can get rid of it, but i think it probably deserves its own spot. if people are against it, let me know and we can switch it up!

so, i think eventually it would be awesome to add more categories for each area in the PNW! I know people in PDX, VancouverBC, Spokean, and monatana are stoked, so we can give each area their own categories for shows and a few other things as they join. then we can direct people to the board through pdxpunkboard.com and the likes too! the more people the better in my opinion! we can build connections, help get art/music/shows/etcetc to spread throughout the entire region!

I think they are good right now.  Too much clutter makes my head hurt.  Plus if it is a good thread it will survive no matter how long it is buried.

I do think we should have one where I can regularly post nude pics of myself though.  I like to show my shit off.
