I had a blast! Saw a shit ton of friends and got pretty messed up!  About 3/4ths of the way through the show I see this dude shove a girl for bumping into him towards the front of the pit...and he goes "I FUCKING HATE YOU FAGGOT MOSHERS AND FAGGOT FUCKING CROWD SURFERS"  I grabbed him by his shoulder and told him that if he wasn't in the pit to get a few bumps and bruises that he should go stand in the bar in which he responded "You faggot ass bitch I'll stand where ever the fuck I want"...I told him that kinda of language would get his ass kicked and he told me he would make me his bitch....I told him I wasn't scared of him and would knock him the fuck out but I didn't want to get kicked out before NOFX played the Decline...then I told him I was going to go back to having a good time and to stay the fuck out of my way and I'd be watching him....

NOFX didn't play the decline and I regret not kicking the dude's balls off

THEN after the show I'm talking to Ian from the loss and start telling him the story, and apparently the same guy giving me shit was starting shit with the loss earlier in the show and one of their friends Knocked him out!  I guess that guy isn't a quick learner

And this illustrates perfectly why you'll never see me at any show of this size and/or type.

Sounds like it was quite the bro down. And I heard it was crazy packed. Those kind of shows are just not that fun for me.

With you there. But I loved those kinds of shows when I was 16-25.

This is from the last time I saw NOFX... probably 15 years ago. I used to be a huge fan. I still have an S&M Airlines tour tshirt when they played the OK Hotel. I interviewed Fat Mike before the show in the photo. I showed up and wandered around the King Cat in the afternoon until I found an open door and walked in. I came in backstage and they were warming up and doing a soundcheck. I saw the guys from Face to Face hanging out in the seats watching, so I pretended I knew what I was doing and jumped off the stage next to Fat Mike, and walked over and sat and bullshitted with them until NOFX was done. Then I told Mike I was there to interviewing for my zine. His leg was in a cast or something, we walked outside and sat in a doorway to do the interview. Halfway through some punk kid tried to sell us his extra tickets to the show. Mike said, "No way, those dudes suck!" The kid never realized he was talking to Fat Mike, it was hilarious.
