We all spend time watching TV.  What is your jam???

My regular viewing is, in no order:
Once Upon a Time
Amazing Race
Boardwalk Empire
Bored to Death
Survivor
H8r
Community
It's Always Sunny
Beavis and Butthead
An Idiot abroad

Burn Notice
The Vampire Diaries
The Walking Dead

The first two are just me; the last two I watch with Lesley. That's pretty much it right now, except for random stuff on Netflix every now and then. The above are the shows I keep up with in relatively real time by torrenting (I don't have cable). I'll probably start keeping up with 30 Rock and Portlandia again once they come back.

oh yeah!!!  The Walking Dead....great show.  I love how they've adapted from the books, keeping it true, but doing their own story!!!

Burn Notice - I've never watched a moment of it, but we always make jokes about it in the wrestling community about how every time we mis-judge the time of special episodes of WWE, Burn Notice is always on...It's funny to me for some reason...

How is Terra Nova?  I've downloaded every episode, but haven't gotten around to watching it yet....

I have the same problem you do with Breaking Bad, it's the best show, but I always fail to keep up on it.  I'm like a season and a half behind on it!!

Terra Nova is a little cheesy, but not enough for me to stop watching it, since it's both post-apocalyptic and Sci Fi. The CGI for the dinosaurs is actually pretty good, the acting is good, I just am not really into the occasional happy family times in the character development that reminds me a little of Star Trek the Next Generation. The show reminds me of Earth 2 with better actors and a bigger budget. I think Spielberg's behind it... oh, and the badass colonel from Avatar plays almost the exact same badass character in it, which is a plus.

This thread confuses me. I have no idea what you guys are talking about.
But in the last few months I've read 2 David Sedaris books, 2 Haruki Murakami books, The Odyssey, and am working on The God Delusion right now. I'm not judging you all for watching TV, I just don't do it.

Ugh...  Goddess Kring. I forgot about public access, which is funny since I used to watch it all the time and book bands for Deface the Nation.

Is it just me, or has Seattle Public access gotten really shitty in the past 5 years.  It used to be my go to channel for something weird...now it's just church and like 1 or 2 loonies that aren't even funny...like the dude in the cat suit.

Yeah, I miss the weird and funny programming that used to be on. Exit Light Comedy Show was actually really funny, and the Afronauts were hilarious in their own retarded Issiquah kind of way.

Does Seattle have Palladia or the Cool TV yet?

Both are all good music videos and concerts.  I have Queen, Foo Fighters, Iron Maiden, Nirvana, and Weezer live concerts on my DVR.

I just looked it up and the Cool TV is on Comcast 93 in Seattle.  It is great to put on and just relax or clean.

Found some Bruce Howard on YouTube. Surprised I hadn't seen this before. Is this kind of like "Knights Of The New Crusade" in that it is a joke about religion that COULD be taken seriously by some people?
