what is this?  New NW punk could be anything.  Why should I go to this link?  You always post things with no substance behind them and I never click on anything because I don't know why I should care...you know?  Give us a reason to check it out!!

NW Punkx = spending more time talking about why they don't care than the time it would take to care.

it is a link to a new punk band from the northwest. It's noisy, raw, fast punk rock, listen to it or don't, it speaks for itself, I dont have to talk it up. I would usually think that punks would think theyd have reason to check out a punk band.

Throwing up a link(or not) saying, check out this punk band, isn't going to get anyone to click the link.  There are 300 million 'punk' bands out there, 280 Million of which aren't even close to being a 'punk' band, then the other 20 are all different sub-genres, most of which people won't step outside of their own.  So, putting a little blurb about what you're spamming about will do nothing but help as far as I see it.

I was playing totally fast and lose with these numbers BTW.

If there were 300 million punk bands out there, there would be over a billion punk rockers. Billion Punk March on Washington!

Nah cus as bands go, there's 1 dude in all 300 million of those punk bands making it only 301 million punk rockers and 295 bands who rarely play shows cus one dude has to go to his other bands practices / shows.

GG Allin was a sideshow act for kids who want to piss off/shock their parents. Yes,I have met some amazingly misogynistic/homophobic/anti-semitic/racist train hoppers in the past(15 years ago) who actually appriciated what GG stood for and were violent and stupid people that were not fun to be around. Think a few of them are doing some serious time.Saw one of them get his teeth knocked out in Lompoc in 2000.Anyway,GG is kind of a joke. And MxPx are boring.......like most christian musicians.

Or picking safe issues to take a stand on. Tom Wolfe was off by about 30 years when he commented on this in "Radical Chic and Mau Mauing the Flak Catchers"

not trying to make him feel like shit, just trying to make him post something that makes sense.

The idea of my original post not being coherent baffels me. Never before have I seen supposed punx care so much about the formality of an internet message board.
