also does this mean that all my unemployed musician friends can add every venue they have played/been paid at to their resumes to buff them up?

If you want to put the Galway on your resume, you're doing something wrong.

The hearing was on the 12th. The board reconvenes on the 19th to make the decision on whether to adopt the rule or not. We'd be able to drink on stage Nov 19.

Also, it looks like we's be drinking beer out of cups...

Drinks would have to be served in nondescript containers, entertainers could not promote alcohol brands or drink specials, all consumption would have to be monitored by trained servers and all band members would have to be at least 21.

It's not a Seattle law, it is a state law. They must not have wanted to drive to the middle of nowhere to enforce it, that's all.
