I dropped over there to see what's new yesterday. #1, my work computer wouldn't let me go there because it said that it will give my computer a virus. I guess the SPO will give you STD???

#2) went home and used my mac to be safe. Their top two conversations are about how everyone should boycott the Funhouse for some reason that wasn't clear, and the other was how all immigrants should leave the country.....

yeah....I'm glad we started this.

I TRIED to have the Funhouse thread locked. Calling for a boycott of one of the better venues in Seattle benefits no one.The immigration thread kind of baffles me,as it does not really belong on a punk forum. Perhaps it is hoped that those who are posting in disgusted response to the immigration thread may ALSO look at the calendar and find a show they like.No viruses on Spo that I am aware of.

I deleted my account when the immigration thread was started. It was painful to read that kind of inane bullshit and borderline racist remarks on there. Before I deleted I contemplated deleting Jay66's account as well. That guy needs a hobby badly.

i've know the dude for almost 10 years and he's always been a bit goofy, but he seems really unhinged recently.

i should be mad but it's actually kinda sad to me.

I've never been very impressed with the guy but his actions lately are pretty nuts. Friendship or not that you may have had with him, I appreciate that your goal is to make the Funhouse a drama free zone.

Brian better 86 me because I'm gonna bring a BOATLOAD of drama to the MOTO show saturday. Cody had a sailor Jerry's duffle bag he wouldn't give me. And that just won't fly. Sure he gave me dog tagz. But that's not good enough. I'm gonna pogo him into the ground while MOTO plays...just saying.

I tried to argue back with that dude in both threads, but the guy can't obviously see beyond his narrow point of view and won't listen to logic. And I don't think it was even borderline racist, that was some straight up bullshit.

Not trying to be a asshole,but if this thread goes on for 3 or 4 links,then what exactly differentiates NW Punk Board from SPO in regard to threads that have only a tangential connection to music or the "scene"? Drama can be fun,but I am a moderator on SPO and even I think those two threads are borderline offensive and/or needless airing of laundry in public.I think COMMENTING on pointless things when one has something better to talk about(most people on this forum do) almost puts those offering the critiques in the same catagory.Anyone who doubts that threads CAN go on for 13 links based on comments alone is invited to read the "Jay and the gold patch" or "the Pyrate Punx Black Patch" threads.Or the thread about Shorty.
