Seattle Themed Punk songs?
« on: August 10, 2011, 03:27:55 PM »

Hey folks -

I wanna do an all Seattle themed punk show on my radio show Sonic Reducer sometime soon - ya know, songs like 'West Seattle Acid Party' by Zeke and 'Lake Union Pub' by Bristle. Nothin' but songs about Seattle and places in Seattle.

Send me requests, and educate me too please!

All I can think of right now is "Hated in Seattle" by Dreadful Children. I'll try to think of some more though.

Against Me! has "Baby, I'm An Anarchist"

Probably half of Success's songs (at least) reference something in or about Seattle.

It was funny when they played it at a house party here and said something about how they didn't mean any of us there.

I think if you expand it to include Sir Mix A Lot, you have to include the Blue Scholars song The Ave.

When do you need this by.  I need a new project, learning the rest of the lyrics to this would rule.

You should team up with Billy the Fridge and start a punk rap band. Like a good one... if that's possible.

He's the big fat rapper dude with a donut necklace that's won some Stranger contests. He hangs out at Funhouse sometimes and performs with my fellow pencil fighter Ronald McFondle (Josh Black).
