It's too bad they don't serve drinks at the show.  I can understand the liability nightmare having all those donated machines though.

I would cry if some drunk asshole broke a pin that you never ever see in the Seattle area.
Plus, if they served drinks at the show they'd be way too expensive. It's worth the walk to Funhouse to get a tally and a shot for $5. Plus, on the way back you can go on some rides at the Center! Well, that's what Kourtne and I did last year at least.

I'm pretty sure the rides at the Seattle Center are gone or soon will be. They are shutting them down.

We could serve beer and wine in a designated bar area, the Seattle Erotic Arts Festival does. The Seattle Center makes you use their vendor and charges a big fee though, so you are looking at $5 Budweiser and $6 Redhook. Plus we don't really have the space for it at the show and the show is supposed to be kid friendly and draws a lot of families. So we haven't opted to do it. Instead I arranged the drink special with Brian at Funhouse last year and I'm sure we will do something similar this year. Now that Funhouse has more pinball tables I'd like to do something more... I dunno, we haven't really rapped about it yet. There's also lots of other nearby bars to the Seattle Center, so it's not like there aren't a lot of booze options.

This is what I was thinking would happen if there was somewhere to drink at the event. The Funhouse is a quick walk and a fun hang out place to take a break from gaming.
But I haven't been there in a few months. What do you mean by more pinball??? What's there now? Last I checked it was just a Medieval Madness. And where did they put them? I guess I could go see for myself.
Sad about the rides at Seattle Center.

I don't know if it has closed yet, I know it's closing soon. I would think though if it was closed I would have heard about it via the pinball and arcade communities, because there would be a sale or auction for the games.

that Spiderman game is one of my most hated.  The strobe light feature when you are going again Scarecrow sucks ass.  I'm sure a ton of people have gone into epileptic seizures.

If anyone is interested in trading a few hours hanging posters around for a free ticket, talk to me. Half my poster crew will be in Europe this year, so I'm recruiting a few new people.

And Marty, I finally have the handbills, I'll text you about meeting up.

Oh man, in true douchebag fashion, after committing to come to the show and me announcing it in our press releases, on Twitter, Facebook, and ad in today's Stranger, Billy Mitchell canceled on us. Like I needed a reason to hate that guy more.
