Greg Graffin is best known as lead singer of the punk band Bad Religion; he is perhaps less well known for his PhD from Cornell and his course offerings in life sciences and paleontology at UCLA. His new book, Anarchy Evolution, describes his own artistic development as inextricably intertwined with his study and exploration of evolution, and the formation of a naturalist’s worldview on questions involving God, science, and human existence. Seattle writer Steve Olson, who is coauthor of the book, will moderate the event. Presented as part of Seattle Science Lectures, with Pacific Science Center and University Book Store. bummed. i totally planned on going to this but my friend didnt get off work in time and since i am sans car it was too late to get there!

Went there with a few people and we assumed wrongly that Greg Graffin spoke at 7pm. We walked into the upstairs area and found a audience waiting to hear a motivational speaker. No one said anything to us,but some appeared to be kind of shocked by our appearnce there. Would have been funnier if we had sat in the front row and stayed for a few minutes.
