I have always loved Nirvana...they ultimately got me into punk rock.  Ask me about my Krist Noveselic story some time.  He's a super nice dude!
Yes. I saw him speak about Instant Runoff voting at Town Hall and I spoke with him afterwards. Very approachable person and it was a enjoyable conversation.

I still love Nirvana, but Pearl Jam just doesn't do much for me anymore. I guess I grew out of it. I'll take Mudhoney any day, though.
Yes. And I like the fact that a band who has a enormous draw will play free shows at KEXP events or at Easy Street records. They seemed like they genuinely enjoy their music and that they want others too enjoy it as well. Which is something which I seldom see. Excellent shows too.

I havent listened to this station in years.
But after this thread I'd figured I'd tune in to see if it was as bad as everybody says.

When I flipped it on they were playing a song I had never heard before and really liked. It turned out to be "Home" by Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros.
