Personal Trainer / Karate Instructor
« on: April 09, 2009, 03:00:05 PM »

Thats right, nothing certified, but I trained under Benny Urquidez http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Benny_Urquidez for almost 15 years of my life, and I think its time to get back into the swing of things. Ive trained with a lot of the martial arts community growing up, and I feel I can really give a good perspective on not only defending yourself, but i can give you the tool to deal with life on a daily basis, feel better about yourself...

I don't Currently have a Studio or anything, so it would mostly be at parks, or in the outdoors.

I studied Ukidokan which was orgionally named Kempo-Shotokan, its a mixture of hard and soft styles, mixing akido, muy thai boxing, white crane kung fu, kempo, shotokan, western boxing, judo, ju-jitsu, and Tae Kwon Do. Its a lot of fun, and i have worked very hard to be Benny's last Shodan (black belt) and I feel its time for me to share what I have learned to everyone else.

id like to eventually put together a class or get into a studio for an hour or two but i dont know where matrial arts studios or anything is up here...

if you need some training, im looking at like $20~$35ish / hour for a private lesson, which can always be lowered depending on what you can pay... I'd like to do this as a donation thing, but i feel a little bit of money is required sadly for covering gas / living.

you've studied for 15 years. why did you wait so much time to start a class ? as you've said you must be a great instructor. 15 years is not a simple time ;)
