Hey gang!
Check it, The Taxpayers are broke. ha ha. We spent all our money starting a small DIY label putting out 2 CDs and a couple of other peoples' projects. Since we also live la vida-broke(a), we don't make much money. Turns out DIY punk rock doesn't pay out too well

.
The Taxpayers are sitting on this awesome 7" recording and we want to put it out, but shits expensive. Right? The songs were recorded by Mike Anzalone in his living room (recorded: The Builders and Butchers, Red Fang, Y La Bamba, etc) and sound pretty tiiiight. One song, "Black Batons" is gonna be featured on a bunch of comps and blogs, so its already got some pre-hype.
What we're looking for: Well, a few options.
1.) A label (or geriatric sugar momma) decides to put out our release on their own, straight up.
2.) We split the release between a few labels. Our label (Useless State) may be able to scramble a couple hundred duckets together to pitch in. Stankhouse Records (Here Comes a Big Black Cloud, Magic Johnson, Don Hellions) have offered to throw another couple hundred our way already, but taint enough. We'd need another 1 or 2 folks helping out.
3.) A person who is an advocate/supporter for the arts to throws us money to put out the record, Useless State Records manages the release and gets them their money (plus a little more) back to them. We've done this before and it has worked out well. This could also be done in conjunction with option 2.
4.) Drink beer.
If anyone is seriously interested in helping us out, shoot me a message. I will send the mp3s to you and you can check em out to judge.
