Funny you mentioned that! Last Halloween Requin were going to do a cover set under the name Minor Treat and do Minor Threat covers but change the lyrics to being about candy and Halloween.

I guess it's also not totally a "fake" band name, but I used to take hip hop songs and re-write the lyrics to be entirely about gay sex, and I did this under the name Gay-Z. It was inspired by a couple interviews I read in a row (by 50 Cent and Method Man) where they made really homophobic remarks.
