Honestly..can I say I really dont give a shit?

The guy got 30 million and got fired?
Really?

I can't feel bad for him. At all.

Sure, Conans funny. Is it some unjustice he doesn't have a job?

No, it's not. The fact more people care about this than anything else going on in the world is bullshit.
I know more about this than about the situation in haiti.
Not because I care or pay attention to either, but because one is shoved down my throat.

I'm so glad Conan is suddenly a national victim, when he got fired and got thirty million dollars

I'll be honest....I just now found out that Conan was fired from reading the last two posts in this thread. Maybe I should watch the news every now and then.

I love the new trend of people saying the late night feud is trivial because people are dying in Haiti. I've heard that on so many talk shows every morning. Look, around the world every day of the fucking year people are dying and starving and have rebel forces trying to kill them, governments forcing them out of their homes, police forces beating them. Every time someone complains about something I could say "Oh yeah? Well the disparity between the wealthy and the peasants in China is fucking unforgivable, and while the farmers don't even make enough to eat the government takes away their farms" or "A woman was stoned in the streets of *insert radical muslim nation* for trying to get an education." So instead of getting righteous about this one situation because it's in the headlines, why don't you tell people not to bitch year 'round? I could give you a million more examples you could cite each time.

Or we can just understand that these fellas are in our houses every night so we develop a sort a familiarity with them - a sort of kinship, and we're just as justified bitching about why we don't like how the parent company is treating them as we are bitching about a political situation that should have had way more attention on it in the first place.

And breathe...

I pretty much agree with Knuck.  Personally caring about Conan doesn't take away from caring about what's going on in Haiti.  For some people, that might be true, but those are the kinds of people who wouldn't even care if there wasn't anything to distract them.
