Ummm my favorite way to sum this up is from Veganthis.Org: In short, because we can live without causing this suffering, we have a responsibility to do so.

Vegan lifestyles do not support rape or oppressive culture, they are healthier, less expensive, and connect you to your sustenance in a way that I feel not even hunting can. Almost all things that are shitty in this world stem from our domestication of it, and the domestication of any life is an atrocity be it humyn or non-humyn.

Plus I listened to a ton of vegan-edge metalcore growing up and I hate the taste of most meat/dairy.

All your reasons are the reasons I wish I could be vegan.

Unfortunately, I have found it impossible to learn how to cook, and thus my options are limited. Plus I love melted cheese more than I love most people.
