I'm glad Hasselbeck is finally gone, but I'm not sure the back up they picked up from the Vikings is gonna do much. Today's pickup seem huge: Sidney Rice from the Vikings and Robert Gallery from the Raiders. The Seahawks look great on offense save for QB.

I like the Rice pick up but a receiver can only be as good as the person who is going to get him the ball. Still waiting to see how they're going to improve the god awful defence.

yeah.  We'll be fine this year, probably going to compete for the NFC West title again, but won't really push too far in the playoffs.

Yep, we'll do OK in the division but outside of the devision we'll probably be getting killed.

They always show him on the big screen pumping up the crowd and I thought it was so weird. I love him, but had no idea he was a seahawks fan.

The 'hawks are great and I'll watch games whenever I can (and go to them when my dad scores tickets), but football has never really been my bag. That being said, I'd rather go to a Seahawks game than a Mariners game any day...at least the crowd at whatever the hell we're calling the stadium these days won't admonish you for "boorish behavior" (yelling, heckling, cheering, etc.) This (admittedly, very Seattle) brand of pussery/soccermommery doesn't stand at a football game and that rules. I'll be trying to watch more games this year, particularly if Jackson can get more than three seconds in the pocket at some point...

I dunno, they are playing exactly like what I expected for a rebuilding year with a bunch of super huge rookies, very short practice season, still weak O-line, and mediocre at best QB. I hope for 4 or 5 wins, for the team which is mostly new to start to gel, and for an excellent draft pick for one of the next draft's top QBs. One of my friends says they purposely rebuilt the team in the draft and picked a non-producing quarterback so they'd have a bad season, get Andrew Luck in the draft, and then have a killer team next year. We will see. I'm still watching all the games, at least through the first half, when it's a blowout like with Pitt I gave up watching during the 3rd quarter.

They're going to have to go 1 - 15, 2 - 14 to have a shot at Luck. Does your friend also believe that 9/11 was an inside job and that we never landed on the moon?
