Yeah, if they're really a folk punk band they would play on the sidewalk with a hat out for tips.

and those tips should go towards some kind of cause

I just thought about the fact that Mike Park always plays house shows when he comes through. It's interesting that he would request that bands on his label play venues.

he'd rather play a venue, but the draw wouldn't be there. just the other day he did say that the GRN STRP show we put on with him in February was amazing and he wants more like it.
