I NEVER got into AFI. Back in high school when I would get the Nitro Records comps, I would always skip over AFI's songs. That band has always been ridiculous to me!

Oddly enough, out of nowhere I pulled Black Sails in the Sunset off my shelves tonight and listened to it. That album still rules.

Don't have any desire to hear that band's current output, though.

I actually dig what I heard of that new tune. AFI has always been one of my favorite bands and it seems like this new stuff may be(a total may be), a fun poppy mess of cliche riffs to fit the new area and popularity of pop punk. Still probably going to be catchy and awesome to listen to.
