Monthly Calendar (on the welcome page) - Include Day of Week

Would anyone else enjoy having the day of the week be included on the monthly calendar that is posted to the site's welcome page?

Instead of just saying:
8/1      The Morgue     All Ages    Loony n' Brad's....

It could say
Sat  8/1      The Morgue

good idea.  I think we did that on early versions but somehow got away from it.  I'll make sure it's on the September version.
