Touring bands are getting excited about SEattle again??
« on: March 30, 2009, 01:13:17 PM »

I've been contacted by 3 of my favorite bands over the weekend asking me to put on shows for them.  They said they've heard the work we've been doing in the past couple months have been awesome.  I blame the majority of you guys for this.  Now I just need to figure out where to do these and what bands will bring people out...I hate booking shows...

Yeah, but that's NJ.  In the NW, we don't really get many of you guys out here.  The Ergs are pretty much the only band that regularly came out here.  Everyone else is lazy.  We're out in the middle of nowhere.  Most bands don't want to do the SF to Portland drive.  It's scary, and gas is expensive.  It's good to know we're finally making things worth it for bands...

haha then stop complaining?!?! plus its not my fault a lot of bands are form the east coast area and cant make the trip out there!  if i could do it i would, but i have a real job that prevents me from touring the entire usa.  although i did say maybe one day we could fly out to the west coast and do a tour, but that wouldnt be for awhile.

It is pretty cool, I've got three shows lined so far for this spring/summer where out of town bands have contacted me looking for help with getting shows. Thankfully they're all awesome bands that I really wanted to play with any way.  ;D

Yeah, the worst is when some really really terrible band gets a hold of you, and you're like, um, write this other dude because you really don't want to support something that bad, but at the same time, don't want them to be hung out to dry.  You know?
